Synopsis 

2011. Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Martin Negri is an environmental controller who lives in Bahia Blanca.  He is mainly in charge of monitoring the troubled Petrochemical Pole of the city, located in Ingeniero White.

He also supervises other industries in remote places such as Tres Arroyos, almost 185 kilometers away, and in consequence has to travel long distances.

After a complaint letter to the Head of the Province Body, Martin manages to have his truck returned, a truck he was not allowed to drive for three months, which resulted in him having to travel by bus. Initially his claim has a positive effect, as he is given another vehicle, but it leads to conflict with the Head of Controllers. She retaliates by cancelling his text messages over his work phone. 

This conflictive relationship with his boss stresses when Martin is sent to close down a company after a massive explosion. On the verge of carrying out the closure, he receives a phone call asking him to step back due to political reasons. Martin is disappointed as he is pressured to suspend the closure and leave the premises. Martin, as a patient on prescribed drugs, has no remorse at insulting his boss when talking on the phone with her personal assistant. From this moment on, we begin to uncover a plot of corruption and shady deals between his Agency and Big Corporations. 
 

As a victim of harassment at work, Martin Negri is affected as he is unable to collect his overtime pay and travel expenses on a regular basis. He is isolated when his work phone is removed and his regular duties are suspended. A few months later he decides his fate with the most horrific outcome.
